New Approaches to Economic Challenges is an OECD-wide reflection on the roots of the global economic crisis and the lessons to be learned. It analyses the factors that prevented authorities from identifying and addressing the accumulated tensions, regulatory failures and global imbalances that facilitated the crisis. It also aims to help identify the trade-offs, complementarities and unintended consequences of policy choices, and as a result advance an inclusive and sustainable growth agenda.
