At least 2 people have been killed in Bamako after a suspected terrorist attacked a tourist resort popular with foreigners and UN workers in Mali.
Eye witnesses say they heard gunshots and witnessed smoke rising from the site.
Security ministry sources say jihadists are probably behind the attack.
The attack comes just days after the US embassy in Mali issued a warning about a possible attack in the capital.
