Titanic 2: The Rose Diaries tells the story of Rose (Kate Winslet) after the events of Titanic. Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) was lost at sea after the Titanic sank. Rose must now move on with her life in New York and forget about Jack.... or at least, that's what she thought.
This is a short film created using existing material. Through the use of editing, voice artists, effects work, newly filmed footage etc, a brand new narrative is created.
This video took me approximately 6 weeks to edit together. I hired professional voice artists to impersonate the stars from the original 1997 film. I used effects work to change backgrounds and insert items (like the bandage and eyepatch after Rose has her accident). I also filmed short segments myself (like the letters and posters).
