Muppet Characters
Sam the Eagle is the epitome of America. Being the nation’s official symbol, a bald eagle, Sam the Eagle has taken it upon himself to promote patriotism and protect all wholesome American values. Though a natural performer and public speaker, Sam the Eagle spends his time working behind the scenes for the Muppets show. Often appalled by the antics of the other Muppets characters, like Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and Kermit. Sam the eagle does his best to keep things under control on every Muppet show, although his pleas are usually ignored.
Kermit is the world’s most famous frog, but he has never let international success go to his head. Arguably one of Jim Henson’s most famous Muppet creations, Kermit the Frog has come a long way from his home, the swamp, to become one of TV’s most beloved characters.
Miss Piggy is the ultimate diva, leading lady, fashion icon, star of stage, screen, and all media known and unknown in perpetuity throughout the universe. Miss Piggy has an appetite for the good things in life, including chocolate, jewelry, awards, and above all, her one true love, Kermit the Frog.
Muppets Most Wanted
“Muppets Most Wanted”, the sequel to 2011’s “The Muppets”, follows Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal, and the rest of the Muppets as they head off on a European tour by the suggestion of their new manager, Dominic (Ricky Gervais). Mayhem unfolds as Kermit the Frog is mistaken for international criminal, Constantine. With Kermit behind bars, the Muppets find themselves in an international crime caper narrated by the witty monologue of Kermit the Frog quotes. Can Sam the Eagle and Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell) save the day? Will Kermit escape prison and Warden Nadya (Tina Fey)? Will Constantine get away with dastardly plan?
