When it comes to Chettinad, we always have special attention towards the place, people, and their flavoursome food. We also get attracted towards the palacial houses, specially designed utilities, lifestyle, food and many other interesting factors. Though we have tasted plenty of dishes from various Cuisines, the dishes originated from Chettinad Cuisine has a special place with us.
Today, I am in Karaikudi, exclusively to learn the authentic recipe of Enaai Kathirikai (Oil Brinjal) from Mr. America Natesan sir’s kitchen. It was surreal to witness his eagerness and energy level at the age of 95. They run a huge catering service where about 200 employees work for the organisation. For a day, they supply food for a minimum of 400 members and work for approximately 12 weddings in a week. Let us now head to meet Mr. American Natesan and know more about him and his unique recipes via today’s video.
