Carl Brunet from Naperville Quebec Canada has set a new WORLD RECORD for the Quickest 4 Cylinder 1/4 mile ET: 5.82 @ 242mph.
This is a Chevy Ecotec 2.1L engine with an 88mm Garrett turbocharger, a FuelTech system and a 10 speed Liberty transmission.
This record was set during Qualifying at the World Cup Finals, Nov 3rd 2023 at Maryland International Raceway.
