Kadala parippu Pradhaman is an awesome payasam from Kerala. This chanadal coconut milk kheer is a winner .This kadalai paruppu payasam is made for Onam sadya and vishu. This Kerala festival recipe is made of coconut milk, chana dal or split bengal gram and jaggery.
Ingredients
Chana dal 1 heaping cup or 200 grams
Thick coconut milk 1.5 cups
Thin coconut milk 3 cups
Jaggery 400 grams or 2.5 cups
Sabudana 2 tbsp
Salt
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Ginger powder 1/2 tsp
Ghee 4 tbsp
Sliced coconut 1/4 cup
Cashewnuts 2 tbsp or about 12 numbers
