Join me on this walk through the evacuated town of Niederplöttbach in rain. If you're interested in Lost Places, this ASMR might be perfect for you. I added old photographs on specific spots so you can dive into the gravity of this place even more, that got first evacuated in WW2 and then finally left before the dam was built. Read the description or turn on captions for more information. Enjoy this walk. It was recorded in 4k and Stereo. Use highest settings for best visual quality and nature sounds. I'm Just A Walker.

I wonder... if I would lay down right here and never get up... who would find my skeleton one day? In fact I wonder: would anyone really care why I layed down here? Would anyone ask who this person was...
During WW2 many towns right here were evacuated. A militairy area - still active to this day - had to be built and this area seemed perfect for it. So many people lost everything they had for a useless war... few of the towns were re-populated again afterwards but eventually had to leave again as the area was to much filled with landmines and blind shells.
When the dam of Ottenstein was built in the 50s and 60s there was a good excuse to finally evacuate the last towns. Niederplöttbach was one of them... so little time has passed and yet almost nothing is left...
I wonder if I would just lay down right here... well... I wonder, if one day a person would take his umbrella and his camera and would film my skeleton. Then maybe write a few lines about it and show some photgraphs, so that people could see more of it than just a dead body... I wonder, if anyone would even care to bring a bit of life back to a memory... but what do I know... I'm just a walker...
