Learn how to install the Saver shower doors from American Standard. To begin, identify all the necessary parts using the instructions guideline as a reference. Make sure you have all the supplies needed to complete the shower door installation.
Install the rails with the clear stoppers on the fixed door side. Attach the horizontal rails onto the door posts using M4x35 screws. Then, slide the wall posts on each end of the frame. Fit the frame assembly onto the opening with the bottom rail of the door at the outside edge of the tub deck flat surface.
Then, level the frame and mark the mounting holes. Make sure to mark all mounting holes through posts onto the wall. Take your retaining blocks, and affix them to the glass sliders, then add the top and bottom water deflectors. Remove the retaining blocks, and slide the fixed panel in place. Install the top and bottom retaining blocks with M4X12 Screws.
Install the fixed door water deflector, and trim if necessary. Insert the M4x35 screw through the washer, and secure to wall post using pre-drilled mounting holes. Then, snap caps in place over the screws. Drill pilot holes using a 1/8” bit, secure frame to the wall post using M4x10 screws, and hang the door on its track.
Depress the lower rollers and seat, and then install the door handle, water deflectors, and magnetic seal on the sliding shower door. Snap th4 profile covers into place, and line with silicone (not included). Allow 24-hours to dry – and then your Saver shower door is ready to use!
