Sometimes it's just about getting out there with your friends and enjoying the company and the great outdoors. We had a crew of four on this joint activation, with Malen VE6VID joining us, all the way down from Alberta, Canada. Brian W7JET and Wilson were also part of the crew. This was a desert hike to the top of First Water Overlook W7A/MN-087. We qualified this summit in just a few minutes using an HT with a rubber duck antenna.
