**I've added a timeline of communication to my ISP over the course of my issues with packet loss and high latency. The timeline can be found at the bottom of the comments section as I did not specify an exact timeline in the video.

I threw this video together after a roughly 12 month battle with my ISP in regards to high latency and packet loss. Packet loss and latency were consistently bad during nights and weekends (during peak times of use). Gaming, streaming video, web browsing, VPN'ing in to work, etc - all unusable while outages occurred.

Outages occurred daily for weeks on end - and consistently over the course of almost a year before I was notified that my neighborhood node was "oversaturated" and being split.

If you're experiencing issues with your internet, check the video out and use the tips supplied to make sure your internal network isn't to blame. If your internal network checks out, reach out to your ISP for a fix. If your ISP doesn't react, begin filing complaints through various private and public organizations to put pressure on them for a fix.

**Accurate timeline of communication with Cox regarding packet loss and high latency:
April 2018 - First call in to Cox tech support for packet loss/high latency, issue had been ongoing for several weeks at this point
July 2018 - PingPlotter data sent in demonstrating packet loss/high latency
August 9, 2018 - first FCC complaint filed
September 6, 2018 - BBB Complaint #1 filed
September 8, 2018 - 12th in home technician visit by Cox - packet loss/high latency verified
September 15, 2018 - First email correspondence with Cox Executive Support Team (already had phone contact prior to first email)
Mid September, 2018 - RG6 and RG11 line replaced, packet loss and high latency continued
Sept, Oct - Additional FCC commenting showing continued packet loss/high latency
August -December 2018 - Dozens of data sets sent in to Cox, all demonstrating the same levels of packet loss and high latency
November 3, 2018 - Second FCC complaint filed with additional data
November 11, 2018 - BBB complaint #2 filed
November 14, 2018 - City of Phoenix cable complaint filed
December 2, 2018 - Third FCC complaint filed with additional data
December 11, 2018 - AZ Attorney General Office complaint #1 filed
Mid-February, 2019 - AZ Attorney General Office complaint #2 filed
~March, 2019 - Communication from Cox Executive Support Team indicating my neighborhood node was "over saturated" and would be split in Q2, 2019
June 28, 2019 - Neighborhood node was split by Cox, seemingly eliminating packet loss issues. Latency spikes are still occurring, but nowhere near as bad as it was prior to the node split
