Need to export your geometry created in Fusion360 to the SVG file format? Me too, unfortunately there is no direct way out of Fusion360... unless you install this free plug-in thanks to Shaper Origin: [ Ссылка ]
Once you install this free utility it will allow you to save your 2d geometry and 3d faces to SVG... but there are a few minor catches...
It takes everything and puts in as one line weight and a single color. This may be fine for most people but we typically need to open this up and correct for cuts, etches and scoring for our laser cutters. To do this we use Illustrator (Inkscape and others work well too).
We show you what it exports by default and what we need to change to make this work with the #glowforge.
Text in 2d sketches automatically get exported (no need to explode text) and construction lines (dashed lines) are ignored on export as well.
I hope this helps you, if you like subscribe and if you need help comment.
See you in the next video..,.
