Let's get dressed! In a 16th century Dutch Renaissance costume. I have affectionately nicknamed this costume the "cheese lady" dress due to the fact that some of the period portraits show ladies holding large blocks of cheese (yum!). This costume is based on a series of portraits from the late 1500s depicting ladies of North Holland. I had a lot of fun interpreting these images and experimenting with the outfit!
