The second annual Best Mortar Competition kicks off with a challenge in the gunnery skills tests, declinating an aiming circle, and a physical endurance test.
The competition raises esprit de corps for the mortar community and for the Army. The competition will recognize superior physical fitness and technical and tactical expertise.
The Best Mortar Competition is part of the Infantry Week at Fort Benning.
