Day 1 of my story attempting to walk and wild camp The Two Moors Way, Devon’s Coast to Coast
A UK long distance National trail at 117 miles.
Starting at Wembury in South Devon a few hours from Plymouth
Walking through Dartmoor National Park and across the western edge of Exmoor
Finishing on the North Coast at Lynton
To just before Ivybridge
Fantastic overnight at Wembury with beautiful sunset and kind weather
Well signposted, easy to navigate with a few slight up/downs but nothing scary
Linking one village to the next with the majority on paths
A great way to start this challenge with enough to stretch your legs and remind you how amazing it is to be outside
A couple of minor miscalculations regarding food/drink and a need to get creative to find an overnight spot.
All worked out. 👍 enjoyable start/ first day

My aim it to tell my story in as honest way as possible.
This isn’t a guide video (although i do try to highlight parts, wild camp spots and tips/wisdom I learn along the way)
The photos and videos are as taken. No filters etc have been attempted.
I am not in charge of the weather. If its grey, raining or windy that’s what it was. (Maybe I’ll get better footage next time. Next time… 🤣😆)
