In this experiment I'm pushing an LM7805 linear voltage regulator to its limits. According to the datasheet it is rated for maximum 1.5A loads. I'm trying to check if the regulator can exceed its specs and deliver 2A or maybe even more.
I'm using power resistors to simulate a relatively constant load.
WARNING
This is just an experiment. Never exceed voltage and current values provided in the datasheet. This may damage your component, shorten its life span or even cause fire.
