Alec Dawson went to X (formerly known as Twitter, omegalul) to announce that they had intentions to hotfix nerf Mauga before their holiday break, but it was delayed for tech reasons, early next week a series of nerfs and changes will be coming to Mauga. Mauga has been a tricky hero for Blizzard to balance, as his mechancics were always prone to boom or bust and we think that the damage profile rework to be more about accuracy at range and tank shooting developed a far worse defensive playstyle that dominates in the hands of a top tier player.
