Additional Info for the SD Card:
In order to use the SD card with the serial mp3 player you must Format the SD Card. The process simply changes the way that the SD card will be read and can decrease the SD card size if necessary because the SD should not be no more than 2GB. The process could always be reverses if the SD card needs to go to its original size for other reasons such as to store memory for a phone. The SD Card for our project has to be formatted correctly in “FAT” in order for our sound files to play whenever they were called in the above code. Since our SD Card came formatted in “FAT32 [Default]” we took the following steps in order to change the format:
• The first step is to place the SD Card in an adaptor in order to insert it into your computer

• Go to my computer, find the SD Card and right click on it
• Select “format” and notice what format your card is currently in under “file systems”
• On your keyboard, press Windows + R to open “Run”
• Type in “diskpart”
• Click “okay”
• Type “list disk” to the right of “Diskpart”
• Take note of which disk number is your intended disk in the pop-up box
• Type “select disk X” to the right of “Diskpart”
• Type “list part” to the right of “Diskpart”
• Type “clean” to the right of “Diskpart”
• Type “create part primary size = 4000” to the right of “Diskpart”
• Type “active” to the right of “Diskpart”
• Type “exit”
• Check to make sure “FAT” now appears in the drop-down box under “file systems” for the card
• Select “FAT”
• Click “okay” to complete the formatting process
