Not only was Jesus the Son of God and the Son of Man, He was also the Son of David. Why is this important? Because the Bible said so, that's why!
The Old Testament prophesied that the Messiah would be all of these, and Jesus was and is the fulfillment of that. During this Christmas season, let's remember that Jesus was not only the little baby for whom wise men came bearing gifts, but that He was and is our rightful and eternal king who will sit on David's throne.
