(1 Jun 2018) Dozens of Arabs and Jews gathered on Friday in the northern Israeli city of Haifa to protest against the country's blockade of the Gaza Strip.
The protesters held banners in support of the Palestinians in Gaza and urged Israeli authorities to resolve the crisis with Hamas, the group that rules the Gaza Strip, by peaceful means.
The demonstrations in Haifa came as the Palestinian Health Ministry said a woman was killed by Israeli fire during the latest protest on the Gaza Strip.
Hamas supports and helps organise weekly protests along the border that began March 30.
Over 115 Palestinians have been killed since protests began, most of them unarmed demonstrators.
