Sponsorships and work partnerships have become fairly popular in the welding industry — and Welton has organically developed partnerships with numerous brands. According to Welton, it’s important to believe in the product you are using and to ensure the relationship is beneficial for both parties. When developing these relationships, you have to create a pitch on what you can do for them, because it’s not just about what they can do for you. Overall, he says if companies are reaching out to you, you are worth something — but always stick with your heart.
