Maharashtrian food is full of flavours and spices. And one such dish is 'Dhapata'. Dhapata is the perfect blend of authenticity and healthiness. It is nutritious enough for health-conscious peeps while it is tasty enough for foodies. Basically it is an amalgamation of wheat, jowar and dal (besan) flour, salt and some classic indian spices. Disk shaped dhapate's are then prepared by flattening dough balls from the mentioned ingredients. Dhapate's are garnished with coriander leaves and served with curd and green chilli crush, popularly known as 'thecha' in Maharashtra. Spinach (Palak), Fenugreek leaves (Methi) and Onion (Kanda) Dhapate's are available at Rs 30/- only near Z-bridge, Pune. If you are in Maharashtra, then you must definitely try Dhapate's.
