"Dear Diary,
When I found out that we would all be playing basketball in Orlando for a long time, without ever having to leave, I was really really excited. Orlando is my favorite place in the whole world because of the theme parks and fun rides and the Disney characters walking around everywhere! When I was little I always said to Daddy that I'll live at Disney one day and be best friends with Mickey Mouse. He didn't believe me. I said I'll show you.
But the stupid cornoviriss ruined everything. We aren't allowed to go to the Disney park after we practice for the day even if it was a really hard practice and Russell yelled the whole time. They said that if we "catch the viriss", then we get really sick and have to go home. What is a viriss I asked P.J. He said a viriss is an invisible monster that crawls into your nose to make you sick. That sounds gross. I don't want any monsters in my nose. And I want to stay here in the resort with my friends so I'll be good and follow the rules.
P.J. is nice because he always helps when I have questions and he doesn't make fun.
Today I scored 41 points. That's more I scored than ever before. It felt good that everybody liked me after the game. Usually everybody likes Beard Man and Russell because they score all the points but today I scored the points. Coach Mike said "keep it up" and when I asked him if I can have a milkshake when we go back to the hotel, he said yes.
When we were in the bus to go back to the hotel, Beard Man asked me if I was going to try to sneak girls into my hotel room. I told him no, my Daddy always said I can only have slumber parties with other boys, and besides only NBA people are allowed in the resort right now. Beard Man laughed and said no, not a slumber party. I don't understand why there would be people in my hotel room unless we were having a slumber party. He showed me a picture of the girl he was going to have in his room tonight. She didn't have any clothes on and seeing her private parts made me get the funny feeling in my pants.
Every night somebody brings room service to my room but I don't know who it is. But when I opened the door just now I saw a big chocolate milkshake and a cheeseburger and fries! I wish I had friends to eat it with but the cornoviriss is scary and I don't want it to go in my nose. That's why I have to wear the mask everywhere. I bet I'm having more fun right now than stupid Beard Man is with the naked lady.
Thanks for being there for me, Mr. Diary. You're a good friend! Sorry if I drip ketchup on you.
