Breast pain relatively is a common phenomenon in reproductive age group in women, that is the time they start their periods to the time they achieve their menopause. Now every breast pain does not mean cancer that is the most common fear that people have once they have breast pain. It is very common to see a cyclical change of response to the breast hormones in a reproductive age that means your breasts are also affected by the hormonal changes which you undergo every month. There could be other reasons for breast pain there is something called fibrocystic disease is fibrocystic nature of the breasts that means fiber content of your breast is higher. Breast is made up of two types of tissues ones fat and other is breast tissue. In some women breast tissue is slightly on the higher side, in that case there is a lumpy feeling of breast, these women are prone to develop breast pain frequently and more compare to the other women. You can get examined by the doctor get the ultra sound or mammography if indicated but there is no need to worry about the breast pain. Very rarely the breast tumors or cancers can have an inflammatory type of picture where the pain is present so if you feel any lump which is kind of like a lemon or a nut is hard associated with pain it is very essential and important to get examined as soon as possible by the doctor. Majority of breast cancers are picked by the women themselves and then they are brought to the notice of doctors.
