I am using free scavenged bait to catch some big fish while beach fishing in North Carolina. I used a special cast netting technique to catch some finger mullet. I’m hoping to target a big red drum (as I still haven’t caught the big one I’m looking for yet). Lot’s of fish bite like to snack on the finger mullet though, so let’s see what I get! What’s your favorite scavenged bait to use?
This week, we are camping on the beach in North Carolina in the Outer Banks. This morning, the bait shop was all out of bait, so I had to get creative and catch my own (but sometimes this turns out to be the best thing to do as these are the kinds of fish the larger fish are snacking on). I’m hoping to finally catch that big bull red I’ve been trying to target. Let’s see what I can catch with this free bait!
