Video transcript:
One question that we get from doctors is "How do I get a patient review? I'm uncomfortable asking the patient to go home, to go online and put something up on the Internet. I take care of patients. I fix them. They look great. They do great. But I feel kind of strange. Like it's a violation of my ethical boundaries to ask a patient to give me feedback".
The answer is don't ask a review, don't ask for a testimonial. What you're really asking for is feedback. You're saying "Would you be kind enough to give me feedback on our practice? Tell me what we're doing well, tell us what we're doing poorly, what we could change, what you like about us"
You really are asking for real-world feedback. And then we (eMerit) take care of the rest. We then get it uploaded to the Internet. The patient doesn't have to take any action other than giving you their candid, three to four minute feedback in the office, at the point of service.
