Baked corn on the cob is a dish not really done because again you would either boil the whole cob of corn or grill it. The nice part about baking the corn this way is that you can butter and flavor the corn and everything stays in the foil.
You can use other chili pastes or sauce to flavor the corn. If you are going to mix the paste with butter, I would recommend that the paste/sauce is not too watery. Otherwise, it won't stick to the corn well.
