Southern Illinois Safety Jeremy Chinn
Senior 6’3 221 lbs
Isaiah Simmons is the biggest freak of an athlete in college football, but Southern Illinois Safety Jeremy Chinn might be right behind him. He measured in at the NFL Combine at 6’3 221 lbs & ran an incredible 4.45 forty yard dash. That’s where all the buzz started, but Chinn is not just hype. While he played at an FCS school, his talent clearly stood out, which is why he’s being viewed as one of the top safeties in the draft. Some think he could be the first safety taken off the board. Chinn is a hard hitting safety who is also a ball hawk. There’s some Troy Polamalu & Ed Reed in his game, but he might compare more to Sean Taylor & Cam Chancellor based on how physical he is. People don’t realize how good Chinn can be. His potential might be the highest out of every 2020 NFL Draft prospect.
