Installing a pool liner wrinkle free can be a real challenge. Here's an effective trick that has worked very well for me to install a pool liner wrinkle free. I use a shop vac and put the hose through the skimmer wall and use cardboard and duct tape to seal it. The end of the vacuum hose should be 4 - 6 above the sand cove. When you turn on the vacuum, the liner will pull itself to the floor and walls. Any wrinkles that are left on the floor can then be easily worked out before adding water. Leave the shop vac running, and add about 2 - 3 inches of water and then turn of the vac and remove the hose from the skimmer wall. The weight of the water will keep the liner on the floor flat and wrinkle free. The liner along the walls should pull flat and wrinkle free as the remainder of the pool fills.
