Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was a game I played during my first ever dive into the series. I had set myself to play all the games released before I played AC 3 which was the first AC I was ever given. I wanted to understand the story and stakes that had been set up, and truly enjoy all that AC had to offer. Though I fell in love with AC 1 and 2, there was something about this game that changed everything for me. AC went from a franchise I adored to an outright obsession. I loved how the story picked up directly after 2, how we had another full game with Ezio, and how the combat and stealth had visibly improved from the last two games. Then, I found out you could recruit assassins, and use them in missions and in the open world... that was the game changer. Such a simple mechanic opened up a whole new assassin fantasy, that of being the mentor of the brotherhood. To this day whenever I play the game I make sure to use recruits as often as I can, as since I was a kid I just loved seeing them come to assassinate targets with me/for me. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a 2010 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the third major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and the second chapter in the "Ezio Trilogy", as a direct sequel to 2009's Assassin's Creed II.
