Ingredients and Measurements:
1.5 cups washed split peas
oil (about 2 tbsp)
1 tsp. cumin/geera seeds
1 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder (you can do 1 tsp. if you want more color)
1/2 tsp. masala
1 tsp. roasted cumin powder
1 chopped scallion
salt to taste
around 8-10 cups of water
