Whether it’s your phone, your fridge, or your family, when you’re studying from home, there’s plenty of distractions in your daily life that can take over your valuable study time. It’s a particularly big problem if you’re taking part in online learning. These tips will make your study sessions more productive, and distraction-free.

Avoid Phone Distractions:
- Set your notifications to silent
- Unplug or disconnect internet while working on a single document or reading
- Set a timer, counting up (to notice how distracted you are) or counting down (to set work or break times)
- If available, use a separate device to do school work, which does not have your distractions on it (for example, social media, games, etc.)
- Intentionally review your screen time on your device to track your usage and work to curtail it
