This is a time-lapse car journey starting in Sinfin, Derby going to Little Eaton Garden Centre.
Then the journey backwards.
You will need a very highspeed broadband connection OR pause it and allow the whole video to buffer in before you try and play it otherwise it will keep stopping and starting.

I filmed this on Friday 28th April 2006. Now 2006 does not sound that long ago does it but if you know this area and watch this video you will notice all the changes that have taken place in just three years.
Here are some of my observations, perhaps you have noticed some too. If so post a comment with timestamp.

Changes since this video was shot:
00:29 A building has recently (Feb 2009) been built in the yard on the right.
00:31 All the Foundry buildings on the right (Litchurch Lane) were demolished in 2008.
00:32 There is now a new bus lane on this section of Osmaston Road.
00:36 This mini round-a-bout was replaced with traffic lights in 2008 causing delays!
00:38 Osmaston Road has a new Bus Lane on the left side of the road here as far as Rose Hill street.
00:41 Empty land on right now occupied by the large Network Rail Head quarters.
00:59 Westfield Derby shopping Centre was still being built at this time (crane ahead)
01:01 The original 1933 Bus Station still in place on the right, new one being built now.
01:09 No Quad building on the Market Place.
01:13 The old pub still painted black and white before it was reopened.
01:19 No Jurys Inn hotel, being completed summer 2009.
01:21 The Pedestrial underpass on the left was filled in Feb 2009
01:36 No flats built yet on the corner (blue hoardings)
01:43 Pub car park has no houses built on it (now completed Feb 2009)
01:45 The car dealership still in place, Now has lots of houses built on that plot.
01:50 Newtons building on the right still there, Now a nice modern building for Tomlinson.

The trip starts on Victory Road in Sinfin, onto Elton Road, Cotton Lane, Osmaston Road, Bateman Street, London Road, Midland Road, Railway Terrace, Siddals Road, The Cock Pitt island, The Morledge, Corporation Street, Derwent Street, St Alkmunds Way, King Street, Queen Street, St Michaels Lane, Sowter Road, Duke Street, Mansfield Road, Alfreton Road, A61 to Abbey Hill island and onto Little Eaton Garden Centre.

The REAL time for the journey was 24 minutes. Here we do it in just 2 minutes 31 seconds
The time-lapse video is made from a total of 1607 Photographs

So thats a spread of 24 Minutes 44 Seconds total.
or 24 x 60 + 44 = 1484 Seconds

So 1484 seconds Divided by 1607 photos =
Therefor a Photograph was taken every 0.92 Seconds.
