2025 Toyota Supra GRMN - The Ultimate Sports Car Unveiled!
We witnessed the Toyota Supra GRMN test at the Nurburgring at the end of March. Now watch a video.
The 1:43-minute video, uploaded by CarSpyMedia a few hours ago, shows the harder sports model racing up the circuit and eating apexes.
Toyota Supra GRMN, whose name has yet to be verified, may have a BMW M engine and compete with the Nissan Z Nismo. Previous research indicated that the M3 and M4's twin-turbo 3.0L engine produces 473 horsepower (480 ps/353 kW) and can sprint 0-60 mph in one-tenth of four seconds.
The future model may not have this engine or the Competition versions' 503 horsepower (510 ps/375 kW) variant, which reduces acceleration time by three-tenths of a second or seven-tenths with xDrive all-wheel drive. Toyota apparently chose the M2's lump.
If so, it may keep its 435 horsepower (459 ps/338 kW) and 406 pound-feet (550 Nm) torque. BMW's M Division's premium subcompact sports coupe reaches 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. Depending on its power, the Supra GRMN may take less or more time to reach 60.
The Japanese brand will add an eight-speed automatic for maximum performance. If you like hand-shifting gears, the car may come with a six-speed manual, which is a couple of tenths slower than the automatic but better for more exciting driving.
A hefty apron integrated into the front bumper, side blades, and a big adjustable rear wing distinguish the future Supra GRMN. The suspension will likely be adjusted under the skin. A more significant overhaul should include upgraded brakes, and the scooped prototype had front and rear cross-drilled discs.
The fixed-roof sports car may debut in a few months, with the first copies arriving at our dealers soon after. Since the 45th Anniversary trim level starts at $65,275, it may cost over $70,000 in 2025. M2 and M4 cost $63,200 and $79,100, respectively. Would you choose the Supra GRMN over a BMW M?
