Using your vocal chords to teach sounds can be a great tool! Not only do kids think it’s fun to feel their vocal chords vibrate, but it also helps with improving phonemic awareness.
When students learn the difference between voiced and unvoiced sounds, it provides a tangible literacy resource they can use independently.
