This has been something I've really been wanting to do since my buddy Derek showed me some pieces of this incredible calcite he found a couple of years ago. These are fossil coral heads that have been replaced with beautiful pointy calcite crystals! It was a fun adventure searching for these treasures for two warm 80 degree January days here in Florida.
