I started playing chess later in life, so I'm never going to be that exceptional. However, I've reached a respectable ELO of 1900 (working towards 2000) by using this one little secret. I'll admit, I'm not perfect by any means and I still resign games early - but when I focus on complications, then I find that I end up winning games that I have no business winning.
