I use spectral repair almost every day for sound design and cleaning up recordings. One draw back is the time it takes to audition and tweak values in the different algorithms. I found a very fast workflow to compare between the four algorithms with my typical settings. Then, after picking the best algorithm I can load up that preset, try a few other options within that setting, and dial it in further. Finally, I tweak to get the best outcome and move on.

This is very helpful because it quickly helps show the best algorithm in a shootout without losing track of each setting in the spectral repair module. I've found it's often Pattern or Partials + Noise that wins, but I'm also often surprised at how randomly each one wins these shootouts.
