What’s happening in this Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island movie clip?
Brax is taken hostage by a drug cartel associated with the mansion's owner. Gwen is taken to the night she accidentally caused a fire that killed her neighbor Nick Taylor. She tries to save Nick but fails and passes out because of the smoke. At the same time, Brax manages to take the advantage and uses cunning to escape the henchmen and take a weapon.

What’s the Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island movie about?
After winning a contest, businesswoman Gwen Olsen (Maggie Q from Priest and Insurgent), former cop Patrick Sullivan (Austin Stowell from Whiplash), half-brothers J. D. (Ryan Hansen from Friday the 13th) and Brax Weaver (Jimmy O. Yang from Silicon Valley), and the troubled Melanie Cole (Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars and Truth or Dare) arrive at the enigmatic Fantasy Island, a tropical resort that is supposed to be able to fulfill their greatest fantasies. Upon arrival, they meet Mr. Roarke (Michael Peña from End of Watch and Cesar Chavez), the owner, who warns them that they must live their fantasy to the end, no matter how it turns out. Each of them is therefore led to live the dream they have previously mentioned. Quickly, their paradise turns into a nightmare. They try to communicate with Mr. Roarke, but he only reminds them of the rules of the game. They realize that they must find a way to escape or they will perish on this cursed island.
