Local clinics have started stocking flu shots and say this year you should make getting the flu shot a priority. An infectious disease specialist at Allina Health says getting your flu shot might not completely prevent you from getting the flu or COVID-19, but it could reduce the severity of the illnesses. Dr. Frank Rhame advises people should get their vaccine by the end of October.
