OPEC, the world's largest bloc of oil-producing countries, has decided to reduce output by 750,000 barrels a day to stabilise falling global oil prices.
The announcement was made at an informal meeting in Algeria after long deliberations between Saudi Arabia and Iran on Wednesday.
