Is becoming a SCCM admin a good career choice? Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager is an important tool for many corporations, but is becoming a SCCM administrator a good career option for system administrators?
SCCM training and SCCM certifications seem to make the impression that the market for SCCM system administrators is hot, but I beg to differ. I have managed SCCM in the past and why I do consider it a good tool and think it makes for solid employment, it does not guarantee top income and I find it very career limiting.
