Yesterday I innocently went for a bushwalk through the farmlands and bush behind my girlfriend's house in Pattaya. I got the shock of my damn life when what appeared to be a plastic / rubber crocodile model right in front of me TURNED OUT TO BE REAL!!!!!!
I've since done some research about Crocodile farms in Thailand and it turns out Crocodile meat / crocodile skin trade is MASSIVE in Thailand. There are 100's and 1000's of massive crocodiles bread for profit across the country. Much of their meat is exported to China and their skins are exported from Thailand around the world to make bags, belts etc etc. In this instance, I believe the site now to be an abandoned / defunct pattaya crocodile show or crocodile zoo which is now closed to the public.
This one was a little dangerous, and a little too close for comfort. I know jack sh*t about crocs and have no instincts regarding safety when near them. Once it dawned on me what i'll stumbled upon, I took some quick footage and got TF out of there.
