The third stage of Sunday's Tour de France was won by Dutch sprinter Dylan Groenewegen, who edged out Belgian rider Wout van Aert at the finish line while retaining the overall leader's yellow jersey.
After the 182km stage, the last in Denmark before the return to France, with a large crowd along the route in the Jutland region, Bike Exchange rider Groenewegen ensured that Jumbo's van Aert finished second for the third time.
Van Aert has a seven second lead over Yves Lampaert in the overall classification, with Tadej Pogacar in third place at 14 seconds. The points classification for the green jersey sprint is also dominated by the yellow jersey holder.
