We understand that many of our customers have not had experience receiving freight shipments. So we put together this short tutorial demonstrating how to properly receive your order.
Following the steps outlined in this video will ensure you are protected should any issue arise with your shipment.
Let's start with arranging your delivery.
A few days before the delivery date you will receive a phone call from the freight carrier to schedule a convenient time for delivery. They will usually offer a four hour window when they expect to reach your home. Make sure somebody will be present to inspect and receive the shipment at the agreed upon time.
If nobody is present the carrier will be unable to deliver your order and the delivery will need to be rescheduled.
Next is the delivery actual delivery.
Now if the item is too heavy or too large to handle yourself. Make sure you have someone there to help you. If you're unable to unload the freight from inside the truck then you will need to add the optional lift gate service with this service the freight driver will lower the pallet down off the truck and deliver it to your driveway. Once your order has arrived. Count everything in the delivery to make sure it matches up with the delivery sheet. Once you have confirmed everything has arrived. Make sure to inspect all around the items.
Inspecting your items
Do not sign for anything until the items have been fully inspected.
Once you sign for your product you are responsible for all damage including concealed damage.
Carefully inspect any shrink wrap cardboard or pallets on your order. We recommend you remove all cardboard and packaging from each item to ensure that there is no concealed or hidden damage.
Remember !!!! Once you sign you are saying that you guarantee that all the contents inside or in perfect condition.
Even if the exterior of your package looks fine we recommend you remove all cardboard and inspect your product from every angle until you're confident all is well. Remember as the purchaser you have the right to fully inspect your product. If there is any damage you have several options. Simply sign your delivery receipt as damaged and to note how many items were damaged. It is important that the word Damaged is clearly visible
We will immediately get new items shipped your way.
If the entire shipment is damaged just simply refuse the entire shipment and we will immediately ship your replacement order out.
