One of these models started my passion for collecting diecast model cars. I was looking for some toy car for my 2 years old boy and found this Ferrari from Bburago and bought it from the local corner shop. At that time I had no idea about this model car world. I used to collect premium Ironman from Hot Toys or 3A Transformers or Metal Build Gundam.
I was suddenly into collecting model cars since I have passion in cars as well and used to build concept cars website when I was in university. Now I am hooked and over night did my research, send emails to so many retailers in the UK, some manufactures, eBay, Amazon, you name it all. Trying to find as much as I could during Covid lockdown and within 3 months I have now over 20 (1/18) cars but I only collect the model that I think is worth keeping. I don't just buy whatever. I look for the quality, design, the price and most important of all, cars that I actually like in real life as well.
So far I have reviewed 2 Bburago, 2 Maisto (both standard version and their top end version), 2 Welly, 1 Auto Art Signature, 1 Dealer Edition Lexus. In my next video, I will show 2 limo from Almost Real, 4 LCD models, 3 Dealer Edition from Mercedes and BMW by Norev and 4 Norev models.
Currently LCD or Almost Real don't have license for Ferrari or Lambo which is a shame and hopefully they get it in the future. The only diecast Ferrari at collectable quality is from Bburago Signature series and BBR. Bburago don't have a lot of versions and also BBR version is way over priced. IF LCD do any of these super cars, I will buy everything from them without a doubt. I will also show why LCD models are better than Auto Art and nearly half the price cheaper.
But this video is about 1/24 scale and it is more for my son play toys. Many thanks for those who has watched my video and some of the subscribers. I am new to this YouTube channel setup, haven't got all the correct equipment such as video editing software, light box, turn table, light, camera tripod etc. I hope you guys find my videos informative and helpful to make up your decision on what to buy and what to look out for.
If you like the model on one of my video and you want to know where I got it from, please ask me in my comment on each video. I gave price guide in my video to give some idea. Some of the cheap model brand such as Bburago and Maisto, you can find it anywhere on eBay and Amazon but for more premium brands, you need to find the decent retailers or dealers to get the best price possible. Many thanks and see you in the next video. I have build up good relationship with some of the retailer in the UK, Germany and China.
