WIPO Director General Francis Gurry and Juergen Boos, President and CEO of Frankfurt Book Fair, explain the importance of the a new cooperation agreement signed on September 7, 2020, between the two organizations.
The first example of this collaboration relates to “The Global Publishing Industry” report produced by WIPO, which covers publishing revenue, the number of titles published and the number of copies sold.
WIPO will launch this report as part of an annual briefing together with Frankfurt Book Fair in a virtual event during the October 14-18, 2020, Book Fair.
