This video describes how to use EcuFlash ([ Ссылка ]) to flash a map to your Subaru vehicle*. This video applies to all OBD-II Subarus that EcuFlash supports*.
*all model years stated are USDM.
Notes:
- 16-bit ECUs use a flash block jumper in addition to the green test connectors, to grant access for ECU writes. You can buy these at www.tactrix.com or borrow them from an AccessPort owner. 2002 uses a blue plug, and 2003-2005 uses a white plug.
- 32-bit OBD-II ECUs do not require a flash block jumper, only the green test connectors.
- 32-bit CANBUS ECUs do not require green test connectors at all. This circuit is closed by the cable itself as I understand it.
Video Errors:
- The car pictured is a 2003 WRX
- The green test mode connectors are located under the driver's side dashboard, along with the flash block connector (if equipped). The 2005-2006 Legacy GT test connectors are located under the passenger side carpet, on the left side near the center console. Pull back on the carpet to reveal them.
- Other cars' test connectors may be in different locations, please consult your service manual or other users for these locations.
