CORRECTION: "Futuro" is the name of the guy who owned lots of land in the area, hence the name "Praia do Futuro".
In this video I visited the Crocobeach barraca of Praia do Futuro, which is one of the more popular barracas in the area. Praia do Futuro is a very LONG stretch of beach along the eastern coast of the city and is definitely in my opinion better than the beaches at Beira Mar, which is along the main strip in Fortaleza. This beach is cool because the water is not too deep and you can meet some nice people. The girls from Star Massage seemed determined to get a sale from me because toward the end of the day they walked up to me while sitting in my lounge chair and asked me again to come get a massage. I admired their tenacity and relented. Inside the tent the darker skinned girl said to me "you are very beautiful." I thanked her and got the 30-minute massage from the lighter skinned girl for 30 reais and it was GREAT. No, there was no "happy ending"...LOL At first I thought the girls were a little standoffish personality-wise but when I told them I had a YouTube channel they lit up and wanted to take a picture. Great time at Crocobeach!
