I am doing a live $50,000 FTMO challenge! I've passed the challenge 10 times now, I want to show people how simple it can be to pass the challenge. This also shows that with discipline and a proper strategy, Forex trading can be profitable and stress free.
I use a compounding method to get to the profit target easier. For the $50k FTMO challenge, the profit target is $5000. You can reach that very quickly within 3 trades. I trade mostly trend continuation patterns. The best of these are the EMA pullbacks. This can be a pullback to the 8EMA or 21EMA, on any of the timeframes I trade (5 min, 15min, 1hr) with the higher TFs being the better and more reliable ones.
FTMO and other prop firms offer easy access to funding for people who aren't able to come up with it on their own. This is a great way to break into the world of day trading. You need a large sized account in order to get anything going.
I personally use a scalping strategy for my trading, there are many other ways to do it as well. Once you've traded for long enough you will develop a style of your own!
